Helena Wu is a third year undergraduate student majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in History, from Shanghai, China. As an international student at Cal, she has seen a lack of support and resources for the international community, and has committed herself to serving and supporting the international community and East Asian community since her freshman year. As a Senator, she aims to prioritize international students’ rights and needs, improve student life on campus, bolster the international pre-law/graduate community, and promote East Asian cultural presence and community cohesion. She also manages the International Student Affairs Committee.
