About
The Office of Grants and Scholarships connects students with financial aid opportunities.
Gabriel is a 4th-year economics and data science student. As CGO, he wants to make the Berkeley experience more accessible and equitable through the allocation of the ASUC grants and scholarships. Although Gabriel is the first ASUC Grants Officer, he previously oversaw the ASUC grants and scholarships as the Chief of Staff to the Academic Affairs Vice President last year (where the ASUC grants and scholarships were housed prior to the creation of the CGO Office). Prior to that, Gabriel worked for the ASUC President and two ASUC Senators in his freshman year and worked for the ASUC President in his sophomore year. Outside of the ASUC, Gabriel is the campus ambassador for the New York Times, is a research assistant for the Economics department, and teaches a positive psychology course in the Psychology department.
