Campus Committee Appointments

Undergraduate students are represented in conversations with faculty and administrators through ASUC representatives on campus committees. Committee representatives are appointed by the ASUC Academic Affairs Vice President (AAVP) and confirmed by the ASUC Senate. Campus committees include administrative committees dealing with general campus planning, Academic Senate committees dealing with academic issues, and student fee oversight committees tasked with allocating student fee dollars. These committees are a way to advocate for change in rooms with senior administrators and faculty, and to ensure that the student voice is always heard in conversations about student life, academic policy, and the campus budget. As an ASUC representative, you represent the undergraduate student body at large and have the power to vote on policies and projects that will have enormous impacts on students, staff, and faculty. You can view available committee seats here and apply for a committee appointment using the link below.

Applications are due by September 2, 2022.
