Ashley is a senior majoring in Bioengineering, with a concentration in Biomedical Devices, and minoring in Public Policy. She grew up in Vacaville, CA and transferred from Solano Community College in 2022.

Ashley first joined student government in community college, where she was a member of the Associated Students of Solano College. There, she served as the Student Trustee of the Solano Community College District Governing Board and the Student Official Delegate in the Student Senate for California Community Colleges. In her first year at UC Berkeley, she worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the ASUC Executive Vice President and as a Chief of Staff in two ASUC Senate offices. Last year, she was elected to serve as the 4th ASUC Transfer Student Representative (TSR). In June this year, she became the Chief Personnel Officer, making her the first former TSR to become an appointed officer.

As the Chief Personnel Officer, Ashley oversees all support staff for the ASUC, develops ASUC leadership conferences, organizes recruitment processes for officials, resolves internal disputes, and ensures completion of mandatory tasks. Outside of the ASUC, you can find Ashley hiking, exploring San Francisco, or trying new restaurants with friends.
