About
Sarah is a fourth year CNR student pursing a degree in Society & Environment, with a minor in public policy. She has been involved in a number of environmental organizations and campaigns at Cal, but her role as a core organizer of Fossil Free Cal advocating for divestment of the UC endowment from the fossil fuel industry will always hold a special place in her heart. The main goals of her office are to advocate for the interests of the environmental community and to connect students with administrative decision-makers to advance their work. Her office’s five departments will work on environmental projects related to ending unsustainable university-corporate partnerships, transformative climate action, holistic wellness, and developing leadership and mentorship opportunities in the environmental community. In her free time, Sarah enjoys bike rides, hiking the fire trails, cooking, and hanging out with her neighbor’s cats.
