Mateo Torrico is a third year studying Political Science and Public Policy. On campus, Mateo is an active member of the Latinx and Greek communities. Senator Torrico and his office aim to foster a united student body. His team will focus on ensuring that underrepresented communities have a voice within the ASUC. Torrico and his office will take on initiatives that ensure and expand the safety as well as the mental health of students. Finally, he will strive to create a more welcoming campus environment that will allow all students to truly enjoy their college experience, regardless of their backgrounds.
