About

I’m Apoorva, a fourth-year student majoring in Computer Science and Economics. This year, our office will have three main areas of focus: Menstrual Equity, STEM Diversity, and Campus Risk Management. My Menstrual Equity Department works towards creating more accessibility for free menstrual products on campus, combatting stigmas surrounding menstruation, and advocating for all menstruators’ rights. My STEM Diversity Department focuses on increasing diverse recruiting and retention practices in campus STEM organizations, as well as making more space for womxn and underrepresented students in tech to navigate the job recruiting process. Our Risk Management initiatives are centered on promoting mental and physical well-being of all students, and preventing SVSH-related risk issues on campus. Outside of my office, I’m also involved in the Wellness Fee Advisory Committee, and I am an active member of the Pre-Law and Greek communities.
