Hello!
Thank you for your interest in being a part of the ASUC Sexual Violence Commission.
Application for general member, also known as a "Community Member At-Large," as defined in ASUCBL 3302. This Commission exists within the ASUC as an independent, nonpartisan coalition seeking to transform sexual assault policies and resources on campus.
Responses to this application are due by Friday, October 4th at 11:59 PM. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis with no pre-set maximum number of acceptances. This deadline is subject to extension if the Commission does not have at least 9 "Community Members At-Large," as per ASUCBL 3302§2 by the close of the application period.
You do not need to have experience working on sexual violence and harassment issues, only a willingness to learn and a sense of commitment! We will teach you anything you need to know. The following sections will cover more about the commission's duties, expectations, and structure.

Your duties as a member would entail the following:
- To attend weekly meetings -
1. on Wednesday from 7 - 8 pm in person.
- To actively participate in SVC tabling and events -
1. commit to a minimum of 2 shifts of tabling per semester.
- To serve for the remainder of the 2024-25 term.
- To actively support the SVC's mission as established in ASUCBL 3302§1.2.
- Approximately 1-2 hours of outside work per week.
