About

The AAVP manages student relations with the academic senate and campus faculty.

Nicole Anyanwu is a third-year, pre-medical student pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley. Nicole is a former ASUC Senator, with extensive experience in terms of grant writing, campus operations, policy and lobbying, and wellness and academic based-initiatives. Nicole spends her time outside the ASUC involved in Black community, undergraduate research, the Fung Fellowship for Health and Technology, and the Biology Scholars Program. Nicole is passionate about academic accessibility and reform, especially in regards to COVID-19 and marginalized/disabled student groups, and has aims through policy, projects, and advocacy work to ensure that all students on-campus are in touch with their academic resources, rights, and options, so they can succeed and reach their highest potential while pursuing their education at Cal.
