Reena Alsakaji is a senior studying History and Political Science and will serve as the ASUC Student Advocate for the 2025-26 school year.
The Student Advocate offers representation and advice to any student or group involved in a dispute with the University.
She has been with the Student Advocate’s Office for two years as a Grievance Caseworker, where she handled informal and formal grievances against the university. Prior to her current role as Student Advocate, she served as the Grievance Director for SAO. As Student Advocate, Reena hopes to support her five main policy platforms: Promoting Student Well-Being, Casework and Office Enhancement, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Protecting Free Speech, and Creating Restorative Systems.
