STUDENT SERVICES

ASUC Commissions

ASUC Commissions are semi-independent units that work to improve student life at UC Berkeley. They promote student welfare, advocate for student needs, and address issues that may not be adequately served by existing campus resources. Commissions collaborate with student organizations and ASUC units to create meaningful change, engage a diverse range of students, and ensure their work is accessible, sustainable, and responsive to the campus community.

ASUC Programs provide important services to all students. As a result, programs receive significant funding and/or space from the ASUC. The requirements for ASUC Programs are described in ASUC Bylaw 3301.
