Britnee Stephen is a senior studying Political Science and African-American Studies and will serve as the ASUC Student Advocate for the 2025-26 school year.

In this role, Britnee will oversee the Student Advocate’s Office (SAO), housing over 70 caseworkers, and act as a liaison between students and the university. Britnee has spent three years in SAO as a grievance caseworker prior to this role, assisting tens of students with their grievances with the university and advancing Restorative Justice initiatives within the office. As Student Advocate, Britnee hopes to help Work Towards a Restorative Campus, Increase Basic Needs Security, enhance SAO’s casework, and push for Anti-Racist, Equitable, and Inclusive values at the University of California, Berkeley.
