WEEKLY REPORTS

Vicente is a 4th year spring admit, FPF alumnus and first generation undergraduate scholar majoring in Social Welfare with minors in Public Policy and Education. Vicente is from Baldwin Park, California and is serving as the Latinx/Chicanx community endorsed senator. Together, Senator Román hopes to uplift the narratives of the Latinx/Chicanx community and challenge the University through the privileges of holding this senate seat. While including and remembering other community organizations and spaces Senator Román will be working towards supporting and uplifting FPF (Fall Program for Freshmxn) students. Vicente’s work will also be focusing on mental health and financial literacy concerns. Our goal is to empower underrepresented students and challenge the bureaucracy of the ASUC within our marginalized communities.
