Mehnaz is a third year majoring in Political Science and Public Policy. Beyond the ASUC, Mehnaz is intimately involved in Punjabi-Sikh student advocacy via Jakara Movement Chapter. During her time as an ASUC Senator, Mehnaz plans to empower and equip the MEMSSA community, which has been her home on campus, and promote belonging and wellbeing for students through Student Justice and Pre-Graduate Student Development initiatives. Outside of school, Mehnaz loves to take film photos, listen to good music, ride her bike, and celebrate her Punjabi heritage.
