Akash is a second year student pursuing a degree in Chemical Biology. He represents the Berkeley Dance Community on campus and also advocates for Student Wellness (encompassing Physical Health, Mental Health, Financial Wellness, and Academic Empowerment) as well as Equity & Inclusion. As a senator this year Akash hopes to grow and support the Berkeley Dance Community, make campus wellness opportunities more accessible to all students, and foster a community that is accepting of everyone and where every student feels safe. Outside of the ASUC, Akash enjoys dancing, thrifting, and works as a Business Operations intern.
