Aaron Bryce Lee is a third year Political Science student and Lakers/Dodgers fanatic from Los Angeles. A Korean American immigrant, Aaron is deeply invested in empowering the Asian American narrative and driving it into the mainstream political conversation. As a Senator, he fights for the financial accountability and institutional reform of both the ASUC and the larger UC Berkeley system, the cultivation of collective unity of the Asian American community, and the bridging of Cal’s entrepreneurial and STEM entities with university governing bodies. Aaron has also channeled his progressive values into various political efforts outside of campus, including working for state and national campaigns in 2016 and 2018, for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris in her Washington, D.C. Office, for education reform in the slums of Kenya, and against Donald Trump’s judicial nominations at Demand Justice with former Obama, Clinton, and Feinstein chief counsels and senior staff.
