Hi community! My name is Mi (pronounced: Em Eye), and I’m a Junior studying Political Science and minoring in Political Economy!
At three years old, I came to San Francisco from Vietnam and have lived in the Bay Area my whole life. I have always been involved in AANHPI community advocacy and civic engagement work throughout high school, which now guided me to be a part of the ASUC. As the Southeast Asian Community-Endorsed ASUC Senator, my priorities are to increase visibility to Southeast Asian history and address ongoing struggles accessing spaces, resources, and opportunities on campus. Additionally, I aim to advance menstrual equity on campus and support our first-generation college students through community-centered and equity-driven leadership.
