Giselle Arteaga is a fourth-year student at UC Berkeley, double majoring in Sociology and Media Studies with a concentration in Digital Studies.
The Office of the Chief Communications Officer (OCCO) is comprised of three departments: Design and Media, External Affairs, and Internal Affairs. Together, these departments work collaboratively to strengthen student engagement with ASUC initiatives and resources, while also supporting internal ASUC units to more effectively serve the broader campus community.
Outside of the ASUC, Giselle serves as President of The Bearettes, UC Berkeley’s majorette dance team. She is also actively involved in Stiles Hall and Salsa at Cal. Her passions include running, dancing, and social media. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops and attending music festivals.
