Applications are now open for the 148th ASUC Office of the President at UC Berkeley. This year’s Office was formed with intention, care, and a deep commitment to advocacy that serves all corners of our campus community. We would be grateful for your support in sharing this opportunity with the students you work with. Students from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Our Office is composed of 12 departments, ranging from campus organizing and basic needs to policy, advocacy, and communications. It’s a space for students to lead real change and gain hands-on experience in student government. We’re looking forward to bringing on a team of passionate changemakers.

The role of the ASUC President is to uplift, unify and empower our campus community by acting as the bridge between students and campus administration.
Abigail Verino is a fourth-year student pursuing a double major in Ethnic Studies & Legal Studies. Her administration’s mission is to center communities to advance the progress of the Associated Students of the University of California. She built her campaign upon student activism, and centered principles of intention, equity, and excellence. As she leads the university with love, these values will remain at the forefront of her work.
