Saanvi Arora, a junior studying computer science, data science, and public policy, is the current External Affairs Vice President for the ASUC. In this role, she manages the student body’s relationships with local, state, federal, and systemwide policymakers, including the Regents, UC Office of the President, and other UC campuses. She also oversees the ASUC’s vote coalition, which is dedicated to empowering student civic engagement in a non-partisan manner. Additionally, Arora helps to understand how social justice movements outside of campus impact students’ daily lives and shapes the association’s advocacy interests accordingly. She enjoys ice cream with rainbow sprinkles!
