Tigran Aghbalyan is a 4th year student studying Political Science.
As an international student, he ran to give Berkeley’s international community consistent representation in the ASUC Senate. His platform centers on expanding accessibility of resources for the international students, including financial aid and scholarship access, legal support resources around visas, taxes, CPT, and OPT. He is equally committed to uplifting Armenian students, fostering solidarity across cultural communities, supporting Armenian RSOs, and advocating for the growth of the Armenian Studies Program. His office also works to expand career programming for STEM, pre-law, and students aspiring to go to grad school. Guided by advocacy, accessibility, and community, Tigran’s mission is to ensure no student is lost or feels alone navigating Berkeley.
