Entering her third year studying Political Science and Educational Sciences with minors in Public Policy and History, Sydney is committed to turning institutional knowledge into institutional change.

Her office is built on the principles of health, safety, sustainability, and inclusion, with a core belief that student well-being should drive every decision on campus. From expanding access to sexual health resources to tackling mental health challenges, her office is focused on projects that meet students where they are and push Berkeley to be the best campus for all.

Sydney’s leadership in the ASUC is shaped by her involvement in campus life and knowledge of Berkeley’s networks, where she has learned how to advocate effectively and foster accountability within her communities. As a Senate office, her team will champion environmental justice, advocate for safer and more accessible campus transportation, and develop tangible solutions to the problems students face every day.

When she’s not working on her ASUC projects, you can find Sydney in the front row of the student section at football games, eating a California burrito at La Burrita, on the Pi Beta Phi balcony, or in the Environmental Design Library (Wurster)!
