About

Chaka Tellem is a second-year studying Political Economy with a minor in Public Policy. As a representative of the Black/Afrikan community, his office aims to address our campus climate, advance academic and professional opportunities for marginalized students on campus, and institutionalize environmental justice. Chaka’s office reflects the diverse student population at Cal and aims to give a voice to communities that are underrepresented in the ASUC. If he’s not in class or talking politics with his professors, classmates, or friends, you can find Chaka playing basketball at RSF, reading about various breeds of dogs, or working on his Spanish.
