- Student Orgs
Thanks so much for your interest in joining the incredible team we have working on environmental projects this year!
The office of ASUC Senator Bancroft aims to facilitate and uplift work that protects people, communities, and the ecosystems that sustain life. Our approach to environmentalism is deeply rooted in structural and system-level change to address the root causes of climate change, environmental degradation, and social injustice around the world and at the University of California.
Our office is a proud queer and trans affirming office, and a space where students of all ages, semesters in attendance and dis/abilities are welcome to bring all facets of their identity to work. Black, Indigenous, and students of color are encouraged to apply. We center intersectional environmentalism and are committed to learn and practice anti-racism in our everyday lives and in our work. Discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated in our office, and we hope for everyone affiliated with our office to be an active bystander in their outside lives as well.
