Thank you for your interest in joining the Mental Health Commission. The Mental Health Commission is looking for passionate individuals and advocates to join the MHC in either our internal or ASUC departments. We serve as the representative undergraduate voice on mental health as defined by ASUCBL 3008, acting as the central liaison between mental health stakeholders, addressing the intersectionalities of mental health. The purposes of the commission includes but is not limited to: representing and advocating for the mental health concerns of the undergraduate Cal population through community outreach.; provide and facilitate spaces where representatives of mental health stakeholders can come together and collaborate on how and why mental health awareness and resources should be accessible and integral to student life. This Commission thereby acts within the ASUC as an independent, nonpartisan coalition seeking to better the climate around mental health wellness and awareness on campus.
