ASUC Office of the Academic Affairs Vice President

The ASUC Office of the Academic Affairs Vice President is responsible for coordinating with the Berkeley Academic Senate and the campus administration regarding matters of academic policy. The AAVP is tasked with communicating student academic concerns, improving academic equity and accommodations, increasing student representation and perspectives on campus committees, and fighting to expand access to a Berkeley education.

Our office has departments on Communications & Technology, Policy, and Committees. Additionally, we are seeking passionate students to serve on the AAVP's Academic Affairs Advisory Cabinet, which advises the AAVP on matters related to specific topics including mental health, physical wellness, basic needs, equity and inclusion, recruitment and retention, and Title IX/SVSH.
