ASUC Judicial Council Undergraduate Application

The ASUC Judicial Council is vested with the judicial authority of the Association. It is CRUCIAL that all members are non-partisan. The Judicial Council of the Association adjudicates all disputes arising under the ASUC Constitution, the Bylaws, official actions of Executive Officers, Appointed Officers, employees, and the Senate; takes direct action to remedy all such disputes; interprets these documents pursuant to Article XIII; maintains custody of the governing documents; orders the attendance of those holding positions in the Association; certifies the results of Elections jointly with the Elections Council; and addresses matters delegated to the council by the Senate or this Constitution or Bylaws.

***** IMPORTANT: Judicial Council members normally serve two-year terms. However, the term for THIS seat in the Judicial Council will expire at the end of the Spring 2023 semester because it is meant to replace the vacancy of a Judicial Council member who were only able to complete half of the two-year term. After serving, if the newly appointed Judicial Council member so wishes, they can reapply in order to start a new two-year term beginning Fall 2023.
