As per Article 6 of the Judicial Council Rules and Procedures:
6.10 Judicial Council Clerks:
1. Judicial Council Clerks shall assist the Justices with the functions of the Council. Such duties shall include any tasks delegated to the Clerks including, but not limited to: delivering subpoenas, contacting participants in Judicial Council proceedings, collecting briefs and Petitions, and making copies of Judicial Council documents.
2. The Judicial Council shall have the option of selecting as many Clerks as the Council deems necessary.
3. Clerks will be accepted and released upon a majority vote of the Council.
4. Clerk’s responsibilities will be expanded or limited at the discretion of the Council, by majority vote.
Other responsibilities of the JC Clerk include attending all official JC meetings (as designated minutes keeper) and socials, and may include assisting with the JC website, CalLink, and Chief Justice manual. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the ASUC, its governing documents, and the roles and responsibilities of JC Justices.
The Judicial Council shall accept no late applications—however, if not satisfied with the pool of applicants, the Council will re-open the application for a designated period of time. Email notifications will be sent to applicants to inform them whether or not they've have been selected to interview with JC Justices. Interviews will take place one to two weeks after the application deadline.

**The Clerk may have the option—given agreement of the Council—to continue their clerkship for Spring 2022 and beyond.
