2023-2024 ASUC Chief Legal Officer Application
Description
The CLO shall oversee the Association’s legal matters by advising the Senate and other Officers and shall take all necessary actions to insure the legal well being of the Association with the advice of the Senate. The CLO is responsible for investigating/prosecution all violations of ASUC bylaws, serving as the ASUC's primary liaison with the Association's external legal counsel, and providing counsel for officials in the organization with regards to all legislation.
Chief Appointed Officials are eligible to receive a maximum annual stipend of $2000. Upon completion of mandatory duties, stipend segments will be disbursed 20% after summer break, 40% after fall semester, and 40% after spring semester.

The CLO's term will end the first day after Spring 2024 Finals.
