Campaign Promises: As a current senator, I have become increasingly disappointed with the unfulfilled potential of the ASUC, especially in the President's office. We have an obligation as elected officials to make decisions that reflect the needs and concerns of students, not the conveniences of administrators. As President, I will make sure students have a seat at the table to discuss important issues like Lower Sproul redevelopment and campus safety. When we use our collective voice as students, we have the power to move the ASUC in a positive direction. Vote for CHANGE. Vote CalSERVE: VAN, TAYLOR, DANNY, CARO.
In order to create a more diverse, equitable, vibrant, and inclusive campus community, the ASUC Office of the President will work to build student power on the UC Berkeley campus. Through the collective strength of our student voice, we will ensure that the University is accountable to the needs and interests of ALL students. We will continue to put students first by providing opportunities for students to empower themselves by becoming actively involved in the community. By creating innovative programming, providing services to undeserved communities, and organizing grassroots campaigns, the Office of the President will make the ASUC a vehicle for positive change.
