The Office of the Executive Vice President supports student organizing in the ASUC and the campus community. Through opportunities for leadership development and empowerment, we encourage students to use their power to create positive change. We strive to hold ASUC officials accountable to student needs by making the ASUC effective, inclusive and transparent. We seek to improve and increase resources for student leaders, including safe, accessible and affordable student space. We work to build a vibrant and equitable campus community through collaborative events and coalitions.
Campaign Promises: My vision for next year includes ensuring that the ASUC continues to be accessible and accountable to ALL students by improving the current web casting system. I also want to give agency and voice to students through the Advocacy Agenda Committees by expanding them to include non-elected officials. It's important that ALL students have power to see the change they want to see. Lastly, I want to work with the VCEI to not only ensure that active steps are being taken to renovate the temporary space but that a vision for the permanent Multicultural Center is prioritized on this campus.
