Campaign Promises: The road from being an ASUC intern to a Senator has not only been one of the most rewarding experiences at Cal, but has taught me many important lessons about the Berkeley campus. With the knowledge and experience I have gained in the ASUC, I will give back to this campus that has given me so much. As Academic Affairs Vice President, I will pioneer a student web portal, introduce mid-semester professor evaluations, and enhance accessibility to campus career resources. It is a privilege to run alongside Ilana, Eunice and Dwight, and I know great achievements are soon to come.
The purpose of the ASUC Office of Academic Affairs is to motivate students to reach their highest academic potential through the enrichment of their educational experience. By providing students with the resources to make informed academic decisions, personalizing and strengthening campus-wide relationships, and advocating on behalf of students' needs to the University, the office strives to cultivate an atmosphere of academic enlightenment that will impart students with the tools of learning to guide them to success, both at Berkeley and beyond.
