ASUC Academic Affairs Office releases 2010-11 Academic Senate Applications

Interested in participating in the Academic Senate? 14 of the 32 Academic Senate committees have student representatives, and the ASUC Academic Affairs Office is currently in the process of reviewing applications from the UC Berkeley student body. The last day to apply is June 30.

The Academic Senate represents the faculty in the "shared governance" of the University of California by giving University faculty a voice in the operation of the University. At UC Berkeley there are 32 committees in the Academic Senate, which discuss and determine various academic, campus and university policies.
