Sources of Funding for:

Newly Established Group (as of the current moment)

In order to receive ASUC sponsorship, your student group must be registered with UC Berkeley. For more information, visit Campus Life & Leadership. Make sure your Constitution meets the requirements outlined in CLL's Constitution Guidelines.
Your sponsorship only lasts for one year. You must re-apply in the Annual Spring Budgeting Process otherwise your sponsorship shall be terminated in the following fiscal year.


Event/Program Funding for Current ASUC-Sponsored Group

Please maximize your fundraising efforts through ASUC Grants, the Student Opportunity Fund, and other non-ASUC sources before considering using ASUC Senate Contingency Fund.

Greek Organizations

For chapters belonging to Inter-Fraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, or Multi-Cultural Greek Council. If you are planning events that focus on: community service and philanthropy; scholarship and educational enhancement; leadership development; professional and career development; and/or health and safety, including alcohol education.
Request funding directly from the ASUC Senate Greek Opportunity Fund.


Graduate Student Groups

Please seek funding from the Graduate Assembly first.


Disabled Students Accommodation Fund: Making an event more accessible

The ASUC strives to lend support to any ASUC-sponsored event or program to improve disability access. For information about how to receive funding, please contact the Director of this Fund (Appointed Official). All ASUC-sponsored events are entitled to receiving funding from this account in order to make the event/program more accessible to students.
